All of my sound has quit working suddenly. I have not made any changes
to my XP system, but suddenly, no sound! All drivers are installed. The
volume is turned up, my speakers are on - nothing. Can anyone suggest
what I need to check to get sound back?

Thanks!

Mike

Go to contol panel click on sounds and audio devices icon. Then go to voice file at bottom hit test hardware that will take you to tester for speakers and mic. It it does not work than in same page go to speaker or mic file and click default setting. This could help you

check connections, you could uninstall the sound driver,
then reinstall it. you didn't mention the kind of
driver/sound system.
