I'm allowing my 8 year old niece to use the guest account on my computer, but
every time she tries listening to music or something, no sound comes out. It
will play system sounds, but that's it. Any idea what I can do?

I'm not sure why is this happening. Have you tried to give here user
permission since he couldn't do any damage using that account.

Don't. Create a Limited User account and call it "visitor" or some
such.....MS Baseline Security advisor advises to turn OFF the guest account
as it's a security risk....

oK. Thank you. I'll do that and name it Guest that way she can't ask for a
password. That's the main thing, we don't want her to have a password because
of her age

You can't name it Guest. That's a built-in/reserved name. Call it 'Visitor'
or something, as suggested. You don't have to put a password on it...unless
you've done something via policies to require passwords on all accounts
(which seems unlikely).

I know. I named it Guest. (note the period at the end) and since she's not
that observant, she hasn't noticed it. Thanks!
