Sound not work after SP2 Install

After installing SP2 on XP Pro, my sound is not working.
Can not play CD's through system, just get a steady
buzz. On starting Windows, just get a buzz instead of
Windows chord, same for shutdown. Mouse clicks are just
a buzz. Sound system is Santa Cruz Turtle Beach from
Dell. Ideas?
