So i have a Gigabyte 8 sigma series mOBO. It has Azalia sound devic
built in. Well all of a sudden my sound quits working, so I put bac
in the MOBO cd and reinstall the drivers. Now i have sound but i
only allows me sound to my Fronts and Rears and not my center and su
when in the setup utility. Now when I play music from MP3s or Cd's i
gives sound to the front and the center/sub but not the rears... an
help would be apprecaited
Im using the Logitech z-64 5.1 speakers. And Ive got the jack
plugged into green, black, and orange. Maybe its the CMI audi
config. Im usinf audio codecs CMI9880+ , driver versio
5.12.01.0007.24, and Audio engine is Xear3D CRL3D DS3D EAX2.0 A3D1.

Please help I've tried everything including a system restore

Dont know if you tried this but go to Start -> Control Panel -> Sounds and
Audio Devices -> down in Speaker Setting, click on the Advanced button and
select your speaker setup.

what software are you using to play your MP3s? with WinAmp, there's a
setting that you should check, but I forgot what it is, sorry. I remember I
had to do it one time after my rears stopped working one day :(
