My son has winxp pro, I have win xp home. On Msn when doing voice chat he
can hear me but I can't hear him. This is was done so far:
1-Auto Tuning
2-Device Manager- No conflicts
3-disabled Xp firewall---do not have zone alarm or any other firewall
4-Both are on Broadband
5-Tripple checked all speaker and microphone connects- all are correct
6- Volume Control Options- all set correctly at default on clean install
7- Not sure if turning off the QoS Packet Scheduler will hurt our broadband
connection????
Anything else anyone can suggest to help? MS doesn't address this
anywhere!!!!!!!!!
Went online support with MSN and got a person who obviously read from a book
and didn't know what he was doing, he ended up sending me a link, that was a
bogus link then disconnected me. *Rolls her eyes*
Please help me....To me so far, this issue is with WinXP pro.
I don't know what else to try?
