Sound gone

Hi my sound has completely gone, there is no problem with my sound cards that
i can tell, it just didnt have sound wheni switched on the other day, any
help greatly appreciated, thnks

Speakers plugged in / turned on ?

Check all the cabling between the speakers and the sound card. Make sure
there is power to the speakers.
