My computer has recently been reformatted and I had
Windows 2000 Professional put on it. When I got my
computer back, there is no sound. I was told that I might
have to install sound drivers...how do I do this and where
do I go to get the drivers???

Thanks!

Start the Control Panel / Add Remove Hardware, then allow
the wizzard to run its course.

Download Adia32 which will tell you what sound card you have. Then go to
the manufacturer's website and download the W2K drivers. Follow their
directions for install. Or go to the computer manufacturer's website and
download the W2K drivers for your computer if sound built in.

For more than six months I've been trying to get a driver for
a PCI modem, without success. Aida finally gave me the
card details I needed to download the right driver. Great tool!
