I just had a new mother board put in and now i have no audio device. I have already tried windows updates and they found no available drivers. I need to download a sound driver and i dont know what one i need.

Also can you tell me how i can find out if i have a sound card and which one it is?

Thanks

Visit the website of the manufacturer of your computer or motherboard,
search for Windows XP drivers for your audio device, download and
install them.

Sheree;
Open the case and look at the soundcard.
Aida32 can also help you identify your sound card:

Once you identify the sound card, you need to go to the manufacturers
web site and download their drivers.
If your computer is OEM (Dell, Gateway, Compaq etc) go to their site
for the sound driver.
