I am using Excel 2000.
I have received an .xls file attached to my e-mail which I have read in and
saved.
It has the following heading + some data:
TransactionTimestamp TransactionSource Code Name TransactionResult
6/23/2004 16:14 PHONE ENTRY 1 470 VERKOUILLE,BL DENIED HANG UP
6/23/2004 16:16 CARD READER 1 51261 CARPANZANO GRANTED
6/23/2004 16:18 KEYPAD 1 11548 DENIED INVALID CODE
6/23/2004 16:26 CARD READER 1 51261 CARPANZANO GRANTED
6/23/2004 16:29 KEYPAD 1 57596 GRANTED
Problem:
When I activate PHONE ENTRY 1 cell in the TransactionSource column and do an
A-Z Sort, Only the TransactionSource column sorts. How do I make it sort all
the other items in row?
I created a test file where I put the numbers 1 to 10 in column A and the
letters A to J in column B. When I sort Z to A, both columns sort properly
