sorting

I have a list on Excel2000 of names and addresses. I added 2 names and
would like them to sort alphabetically by last name. I clicked on Last
Name, but the first name and address stayed in place. How do I sort so that
the info all goes together? TIA

Select the entire range to be sorted first.

If your names are in A2:B99, then select A2:B99.

If your names are in A2:B99 and there's data in C2:c99 and d2:d99, then select
the whole range.

click on the bottom right and with the primary mouse button depressed, drag to
the top right corner.

Make sure you get all the columns in your data.
