I am disappointed with Windows Vista Calendar. It is almost useless as far
as task management goes. Anybody serious about to-do lists and tasks would
have to use Outlook.

Here is a simple example. Create a task with due dates in the future. Why do I have to see that task today?

it happens to me if when setting up the task the proper date does not show in the schedule setup on the right side of the window.
I found it necessary to click on the desired date in the calendar and also click on the ARROW beside the date on the right side and select the date. the message then does not show up as today.

WHY it is not easier to select a date is a good question.

if you watch the dates when setting it up you should have less of a problem. its not necessarily your fault.
