Sorting a List and determining value

I have worksheet with 13 columns and 9 rows. I want Excel to sort the data
and give a numeric value (1-9) for whichever place that data is in. For
instance, the highest value in a column would be given a 9, the second
highest an 8, etc... Is there a way to do this?
