Sort By Name missing in Favorites menu

I run IE6.0, and I am trying to sort my Favories. When I
right-click on any favorite, I do nnt get a "sort by
name" choice, like I should.

Can anyone tell me what's going on??

Don't use the favorites sidebar......close it, from the top menu choose
Favorites. Pick any item, right click and down near the bottom is the sort
by name option.
 
You do not get that option in the actual tool bar. If you
visit the actual folder either in your my documents
folder (win2k/xp) or the system root (win9x) you can sort
the folder alphabetically,
