Sort by Day not Minutes

I want to create a custom view for my Outlook 2003 that sorts mail by day.
Upon setting the sort option I was dismayed that Outlook beleives sorting
inbox messages by each minute is helpful. Is it possible to have my email
sorted by day ?
 
Not sure what you are trying to do, as outlook sorts by the time received.
If you mean group by, not sort by, you need to use the new outlook views to
sort by day

Yes, I want group by. Group and sort by day. And within each day group
sort by From.

How???
