Hallo
recently I removed worm32 blaster;
;; yesterday while downloading Incredmail, somehow
dnloaded a programme--------scanner150;comp-ksrl;
size24kb;
; when I doubleclicked the file, with no internet
conection , it scans 108files & says virus found;; It
says window 2 shut down after 1minute.After 1minute
there is no shut down there is a message saying your
comp at severe risk--------------buy this software

My q is that am I still infected ?/its a company
gimmick/false alarm 2 make persons buy these software?
There"s no virus in updated NT2002/Spybot
no problem occurs , if I don"t click this file called

Try downloading a free virus remover called f-prot (www.f-
prot.com). if you download the ms-dos version and reboot
in ms-dos mode (or on later windows, boot from your
rescue disk) then run it, it checks all your files and
will remove most things. there is also a free download
on the windows update page which will deal with the
blaster virus

Not if the drive is formatted NTFS...

From the f-prot site under System Requirements for F-Prot for DOS:
"F-Prot Antivirus for DOS will run under Windows 3.x, Windows 95, 98, or
UNIX, LINUX or Macintosh workstation running a DOS or Windows emulator.
(see also F-Prot Antivirus for Linux.)."

See any mention of NT, 2000, XP or NTFS in that paragraph?
