Sony Vaio

I have a new Sony Vaio that takes 3 and a half minutes to
start up. I've disengaged all Startup items and it did
not help.
Have no clue.

Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Cleanup. Then, from
the same folder, Defragmenter, which might take a few minutes.
Networking problems will also cause a slow boot. HTH.
