Everytime I load Outlook Express to get my emails,
messenger loads. This normally wouldn't be a problem but
it loads using someone elses name. People whom I have no
idea are. I have tried to disable it a number of ways but
it continues to reload. It appears it is being used as a
server. I think I have been hacked. What can I do to get
rid of it. Someone told me I can reload XP and it will
take care of the problem but I bought the computer
secondhand and do not have the XP disc. I will go buy a
new version but only if that will work. HELP!!

No one "hacked" your computer. Someone else used Messenger, and clicked the
setting to save their username and password into the Messenger.

For all intents and purposes, they're set up the means for YOU to hack THEM.

Simply delete them as users from Messenger. There are a million messages
explaning how to do this on here.

According to Jonathan Kay, try this

You can remove Passports in the sign in list by clicking the Start Button,
then click the
Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your
account name, and
then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my
Network
Passwords'. In the window that opens, you can remove accounts by clicking
the passport you
wish to delete [denoted by (Passport)], and then click the 'Remove' button.
