Some pics not displaying

Hi Folks,

Can someone please explain why this happens....

I'm at a site and some of the pics just display the
dreaded red X. But if I get the properties of the pic and
paste that url into the address bar and hit enter, I'm
taken to the pic and it does fully display. Then I go back
to the site and low and behold, that pic that was a red x
is now fully displayed.

Any explanation for this?
