Some of my e-mails don't have any sound or audio???

Some of the e-mails that I receive do not have any sound or audio... what is
it that I need to do to get it back again...Any suggestions?? Thanks.. .Judy

You get emails that make noise? Gross. However, if you really like that,
here are a few question you will need to answer in order to get focused
troubleshooting help:

1. What email program?
2. What type of noise is the email message supposed to be making?
3. Are the noisy emails all from the same source or different sources?
4. Did the emails ever make noise? If so, what changed between the time
things worked and the time they didn't.
5. What Service Pack level is your XP?
6. Do other sounds work well on your machine?
