some images won't display

I can't help but feel this is a simple problem, but I can't figger it out!
Recently, when I load some web pages I get x's where a pic should be. What
have I done? How do I fix it? Thanks!
 
Hi Jennifer,

In Internet Explorer, click Tools, Internet Options,
Advanced. Scroll down
to Multimedia and see if "Show Pictures" is checked.

If not look here for some other possibilities.
