Some icons of startup applications disappears from Notification Area (at
watch on Task Bar). But the applications continues to work. According to
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_n.htm
this relates with PNP service and suggests to cut this service off. The
relation confirms next event - when the computer starts, it shows massage
about New Hardware - Parallel Device. There is no new hardware in the
computer.
Can somebody says me, how can I get rid of this (without cutting PNP service
off)?
Thanks in advance

This is one of those things that you might have to learn to live with;
it is really only cosmetic. However, you can try to force icons on or
off by right clicking the Start Button, select Properties, Taskbar tab,
Customize button. Select the Behavior you want for the icons.
Sometimes this works, sometimes it does not, i.e., it is semi-permanent.
