some advise

hello i have kewill generic orders installed on my work pc but have got a new
pc and need to know if i can move programs and archives onto new computer or
will i have to buy a new application?
i have put the disk's on new pc but can't get the data to move over any
pointers

Have you spoken to Kewill tech support or your IT dept?
 
yes contacted kewill and they want to charge £400 to sort it out and i am the
IT department and i can't seem to find a way to do it

then you're between a rock and a hard place........if this is a
mission-critical application, then you must judge whether £400 is worth it,
or whether you just keep the old pc......

BTW, I used to use Kewill as support for great Plains Dynamics and the
network, and they always seemed pretty kosher......

Ring your maintenance man on his mobile - he might be able to advise you
without charging or coming onto site.....
 
From your grammar and puncutation abilities, I can see why they
want to charge you. You ARE the IT? Wow. I hope it's a small
company!
