I recently updated the macromedia flash player as advised because of a recent
security advisory.
I have not paid much attention to this program before.
I decided to check what was in the folders for this program and deep in the
sub folders I found some .sol folders that relate to some web sites that I
visited before. Named like this... #website.com
They are very small folders about 80 to 90 bytes.
I tried to find out by "googling" what these are for but I couldn't find
anything useful.
Are these a kind of cookie?
What is their purpose?
Can I get rid of them safely?
I know this is strictly not a Windows XP question but if anyone can give
some info I would appreciate it
Thanks in advance.

Ah!!
actually I have used CCleaner for a few months now
BUT I didn't have the macromedia box ticked on the applications tab.
Thanks for the suggestion
Now gone
