I have tried to download soem software. It started one time, but usually the
screen goes blank. Even after the first time it started the screen went
blank and it says the program is not responding.

Is the problem just with one website/download site or all download sites? If
just the one, tell us the url so others can check it out for you. If you

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time things
worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus
status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and
versions) did you use to determine this?

What software? From what web site? What browser are you using?

Can you successfully download other files, or do they all have the same
problem?
