I get error message " the win 16 subsystem was unable to enter protected mode, Dos.EXE must be in your autoexec.NT and present in your path"
anyone have any idea what this means, & how to fix it.

1. Open XP's "Help and Support" program.
2. In the Search box type: COMPATIBILITY , and hit enter.
3. Click on the topic titled: "Getting older programs to run on Windows XP".
