Software to create images

Can anyone offer some advise as to which software to use to create, and
deploy images of a machine.
I have both Ghost, and Live state recovery and they will not work. Unless
I'm using them wrong. This is what I've done so far:
Installed all apps, services, and configured a machine, then ran sysprep to
prepare it for imaging. Now the problem I'm having is that Ghost 2003 will
not allow me to connect to a network drive to create the image, and
livestate recovery does not have the option to create the image from the
bootable CD. I don't want to install LiveState on all my computers, I just
want to create an image of this one, and apply it to all my other new
workstations.

Anyone have any ideas?

Read the manual and/or ask those who created the product you purchased and
are using.

If you have a maintenance contract with Symantec on Ghost 7.5 or
greater, they will send you Ghost32 which will work in a Windows PE
environment. You could then get the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows here
from http://www.ubcd4win.com/ with the network driver pack. Add the
plugin for Ghost32 in the PE builder and you're golden.
