Software to check what is using soundcard ?

Re my above query about "MMIO open for write failed". I have just had word
back from the software vendor saying that this problem may be due to the
fact that some other program is using my sound card.

So, is there any software to try and establish what is accessing my
soundcard, as it's not obvious from looking at 'task manager' what is going
on here.

No one has any idea what you are talking about.Please stay in the original
thread or post the entire problem you are having in a new thread such as
this one.
 
Read the last paragraph, i thought i had written that pretty clearly (even
if my prior thread had vanished !). "So, is there any software to try and

And my last message IS still there, but i opened a new one because it had no
answers after a few days !
