WILL SOFTWARE THAT WORKS ON WINDOWS 95 OR 98 WORK ON
WINDOWS XP? I KEEP GETTING AN ERROR THAT SAYS
TLOCK_ERROR_FILENOTFOUND. WOULD THIS BE A COMPATIBILITY
ISSUE OR SOMETHING ELSE? CAN ANYONE SHED SOME LIGHT ON

WinXP has a feature for backward compatibility. Right-click on the
executable you want to run and select Properties. Click on the Compatibility
tab. From the drop down list you can adjust compatibility to say Win98 or
Win95 or 256 colours etc. etc. You can try different combos and see what
works.

mixed case.

It depends on the software. Most such programs will work under
Windows XP, but some won't. For more help, identify the programs
you are having trouble with.
