I have two disks in my system that are both dynamic disks. Both are
partitioned exactly the same. I took one partition from each physical disk
and formed a RAID 1 volume (E:) out of it.

However, when I first installed windows, it was only on one partition of
one physical drive (C:). If this drive fails, how do I recover the data
from my RAID 1 volume?

This has not happened to me yet, but I would like to understand how this
would work if I have to deal with it in the future.

TIA.

You have to boot from a Win2000 boot diskette:

- Format a floppy disk on some Win2000 PC
- Copy these hidden files to it: c:\ntdetect.com,
c:\ntldr, c:\boot.ini
