Software Load Problem: Software Appears in Process Tab But Not In Application Tab

I installed SONY Reader Connect, the desktop application package that comes
with the new SONY Reader. For about a day, it worked fine, then appeared
to stop loading. When I checked with Task Manager, I noticed that the
Connect software was running in the Process tab, but not in the Application
tab. In addition, as a process, it was consuming 99% of the CPU.

Interestingly, when I changed User Account Profiles, logging on under a
Guest profile, the application loaded and rsn perfectly.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on here, and what can be done to fix
it?

Have you uninstalled/reinstalled? Contacted Sony tech support?

The reason I decided to write that, was mainly because "Burt Convy"

The program crashed. Killing the process via Task Manager or a reboot may
sort it.
