I have a GPO setup to install Office2000 Small Business
edition. At the moment users log in and the shortcuts for
the applications are in programs files. When a user clicks
on one (exp. word) it than tries to install. During the
install it asks for the CD-key. How do i get the cd-key to
go out with the install? I read something about entering
this line:
msiexec /a path to .msi file PIDKEY="[CD-Key]"
Do i run this on the server that stores the msi file. And
is it a one time thing that i have to run on the server? I
don't believe it has to be run on the pc its being
installed on, or do i?

One other thing. Is there a way for it to install
completly the first time the user logs in, and not wait
for the icons to be user for the first time.

Have you done the Administrative Installation of Office 2000 ( any version,
SBE in your case ) on the 'Distribution Server'? This is accomplished by
simply running 'setup.exe /a' and will most probably solve your issue.
