Hi All,
I have been looking in my C:\program files\windows\software
distribution\download
and found about 200 MB of disk space occupied a lot of long number files. I
suppose
these are download files for Windows update, right? If so, can I delete them
and save
200 MB of disk space?
My OS is Windows XP Pro SP2.
TIA
yakis

Hi Yakis,

Yes the contents of the C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download
folder can be deleted.
Although some may return the next time Windows Update is run.
