Hi group

Dumped Vista for various reasons..... but I'm really missing the
SnippingTool on my XP box...(got the vista sidebar to work on xp)

Is it possible to get this app running on XP ?

Not really. Vista’s applications use an executable format that is not compatible
with XP, so XP cannot run Vista’s programs. There are however other apps that do
the same thing.

Google for “xp snip screen” or “xp clip screen” or “xp capture screen part” . I’
m not familiar with all of SnippingTool’s functions, but PC Magazine’s
WinPointer does a lot of it (that’s the first app of this sort that I heard of
years ago).
