SMTP settings

Wondering if anyone knows if there is a simple way to do this?

I have a mobile user. They can actually connect to the net 4 different ways
via 4 different ISPs.

Our e-mail is hosted off-site.

One connection is local in the office
Second connection is wireless
Third connection is via cable modem
Fourth connection is via dial-up

Basically the incoming mail server settings stay the same.

However, the user has to change the outgoing server to whatever
the ISP uses as their outgoing server?

Is there an easier way to have multiple outgoing servers set up so the
user doesn't have to remember to change this setting when going from
ISP to ISP?

Thanks,
George

George,

I am in exactly the same position and have overcome it by running my own
SMTP server on my laptop. No more changing the server no matter what email
address or ISP I connect to. I have tried a couple different SMTP servers.
PostCast server is one (http://www.postcastserver.com/index.html) and there
is a free version. With all the blocking occuring by some ISP's such as AOL
who block any IP address which is not fixed, I find that the free PostCast
server does not have the same flexibility as QK SMTP server
(http://www.qksoft.com/index.html) which is not free, but not very
expensive. It allows you to also specify an external SMTP server if the
internal server does not get through after a nominated number of retries. I
had a problem with QK SMTP server when I started using it but the developer
was very responsive to my emails and together we were able to solidly
diagnose and solve the problem related to using Outlook XP. Version 2.16
has now been released to include this fix.

I have no financial interest in the software myself but endorse it only as a
fan.

THANKS!
