SMC ircc DRIVERS for XP not working

My DELL INSPIRON 8200 Infrared drivers not getting
install in XP, it is saying problem with iNSTALLATION,
cant complete

HELP ME

Are you trying to install the drivers from the Dell Support CD? You may
have to enable the IR port in the BIOS. Press F1 (or F2 or whatever it
says) to enter the BIOS when you first power on the computer. Make sure
it is enabled in there first, then install the drivers from the Dell
Support CD ;)
