Hi,
On some web pages that I visit the page is very small and I have a 2 inch
stip of white down the right side of the page. Is there any way to "stretch"
the page to fill the page?

Some web pages do fill the entire page, while others do not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Cetera.

Maybe we can help, but maybe we cannot. Much of the appearance of a web
page is controlled by the programmer who designed the page. Some pages are
designed for the "lowest common denominator" (a screen resolution of only
640x480 or 800x600) and these pages simply will not fill up a 1024x768 (or
larger) screen.

Factors within your control are making sure you have the best drivers for
your video card, and adjusting screen resolution and other settings in your
Display Properties. Also, of course, you can use your mouse to drag the
edges of your browser window, but that does not seem to be what you are
asking about.

Thank you for your help. I recenlty purchased a new computer and did not
have this problem with my old computer. I went from Windows 98 to XP. For
example, on my old computer, the web page filled the entire screen. Now when
I go to that same page the page is not stretched to fit the screen. I don't
know if that is just XP's setting and there is nothing I can do.

Thanks
