I work for a very small company and we are trying to set up a netwrok
via a wireless router. Let me explain... My computer is hardwired into
the wireless router as well as the printer. The ultimate outcome is to
be able to share the printer, and be able to use quickbooks at the same
time without double entering data (we have the multi user license fro
quickbooks.) I have never done this before, so I have no idea if it
will even work. They don't have internet sharing, nor do they want it
(why I have no clue). The other computer is a laptop with the wireless
card. Is this possible and if so...can someone walk me thru? THANKS SO
MUCH

Sure this should work. Since I don't know what operating systems you're
using, Home or Pro, here are links discussing sharing for each, as wel
as links to help you with the wireless part:

If you don't have a print server and are, for example, just connecting
computers and one has a printer attached, all you have to do is allow the
printer to be installed as a network printer on the machine(s) to which it
is NOT attached and on the one it IS attached to, share it on the network.

The only problem when putting printers in like that, though the cheap way to
do it, is that if you have 2 or more people all send print jobs to the
printer at the same time, the jobs CAN become mixed up.
