I have 3 computers that I am trying to connect through a workgroup. I have
established my workgroup. I have 2 xp machines and 1 win2k machine. One
computer, main is the "host". I have a problem that on my other xp machine I
cannot access the files or anything on main computer. When I go to Network
wizard it gives me an error message "Your user account does not have adequate
permissions to set up a home office network". I have searched high and low
to verify that this computer does have adequate permissions.

Please help!!
Thank you!

what do you receive if using the net view \\mainpcname from remote computer? If it is system error 53, it may be name resolution or connectivity issue. if is system error 5, this is permission issue. if it is permission issue, have you create the same username on main pc?

I can see and navighate from main computer to the remote computer. I cannot
do the opposite. I need to be able to do that. I get the error message on
remote computer and it says inadequate permissions?? I have created the same
user on the main computer as well. Should I do that? Does it matter?
