Anyone know with an SLP enabled system, do we still need to place some sort
of COA sticker on the boxes we sell?

That would be a good idea, since you will be assuming 100% product support.

This does not answer my question. Are you familiar with SLP? The systems
will include SLP locked restore CDs per Microsofts SLP program agreement.
The question is, does Microsoft REQUIRE COA stickers to be placed on the
side of the chassis that OEMs usually place there when doing non SLP based
OS preinstalls.

For SLP shipped systems, the customer does not receive unique installation
keys as they will never have a requirement for a key on an SLP system (they
are BIOS locked. As long as a certain BIOS string exists in a certain
memory location, the user is never asked to activate XP).

I was hoping someone from Microsoft could comment as my TAM is out of the
office and the person covering for him doesn't appear to want to bother
chasing down an answer. I've also asked in the System Builder forum.
Thanks.
