Slowness

Hi All,

I have noticed that recently my laptop has progressively become slower and
slower. I have a single disk 40 gig split as C - D drives. Both drives are
near capacity. I have completed housekeeping and deleted any tmp files that
are present on the volumes.

Please could someone suggest another alternative so that i can get the
laptop speeded up a little.

Any information would be greatly received.

You wrote that both drives (you really mean volumes, since it's one drive
partitioned into two volumes) are near capacity. How near? You should not
let free space get less than 20%. If they are each 20 GB then free space
should be at least 5GB on each.
