slowing HD

Anybody know why my hard drive is gradualy slowing down
especialy on startup? This always seems to start a few
mounths after I install XP pro. HD is not full and I can
find no other reason access should be this slow to the
HD. PS Yes I run defrag oftern.

How frequently do you install XP? It sounds like pretty often. Are you
donig this because you develop problems and use that as a method to overcome
your troubles? The bootup delay could be because the system naturaly slows
as you add more software. It could be due to not having enough RAM. Or
more likely, it could be whatever is causing you to re-install XP over and
over again. What symptoms are leading you to re-install XP? Please provide
more details and maybe someone can help you.
