Slowdown Patch

Is anyone aware of a patch to solve the SLOWDOWN caused
when I did the lats update from Microsoft?
I have been on the update site and nothing is listed
 
I am not aware of one yet. If someone does find a patch or
a fix or an update for this, please notify me by email if
you can. If not, then simply respond to this message and
I'll happily be on my way. :)

Ever since last win update putter has been "hanging up"
for 10 -15 secs. Is this the slowdown patch you talk
about that can fix it??
 
This may be the very same problem you've been having.
However, your's is for a very short time compared to
mine. Mine will hang/bog down for several minutes at a
time, and I can't get anything to happen. It is hateful.

What slowdown issue? Is this from the earlier 811493 update from several
weeks ago, if so they have released a fixed version that has solved the
slowdown for most users that were experiencing it. Or is there another
slowdown issue since then?
