Please recommend some ways to speed up my coputer. It was fast now it is llike a snail with rhumatism! Thanks nira

It's difficult to help you with so little information, but one strong
possibility is that you are infested with spyware. If I were in your shoes,
I would run at least two different anti-spyware programs, like Spybot Search
and Destroy, Ad-aware, and the Microsoft Anti-Spyware beta..
 
Go to Yahoo.com and download their tool kit, it includes anti-spyware
removal software fairly well. You can also fo into internet setting and
delete ALL cookies for starters to see if that helps. I assume that your are
running anti-virus software and that you update it frequently, daily if
possible.

Microsoft offers a FREE malicous software removal program that seems to do a
decent job.

RUn spyware n virus scans, how long since you cleaned out the system?Is
ur HD running out of space or choked? Run a disk cleanup, get rid of
unwanted stuff, uninstall unwanted programs and run chkdsk and
defragment your drive, disable unwanted items from loading at boot. Be
regular with these maintenance tasks and ur system will run smoooth:)
