Slow to reconnect

I'm having problems at startup reconnecting to the servers
mapped drives. The workstation logs in and then hangs
trying to remap the drives. It finally does after about 1
solid minute but it should jump right in. Any ideas as to
what the problem might be.

Check the ipconfig/all. Does everything point to the server-IP?

I'm using DHCP on the workstations. They log in fine but
hang making the reconnections.

Can you post the ipconfig please? What OS on the clients? How many nics in
the server?

It's on a client site.

I'm running Window Server 2000.

One NIC in the server.

Clients are running Window 2000 Professional.
