Slow to "Create Message"

Just got a new dual core PC, but on trying to "Create Message", it
delays about 6-10 secs before being able to use it to write a new
message.

I would have thought it would have been instant ?

I'd try the program first, and if that doesn't fix it, try the Windows Update rollback.
I don't know of any other thing to try for that slowness problem, except switch to
a different email program.

OK, I can't find the KB931768 update on add/remove section of Control
Panel - loads of other updates though
