I have Windows XP Home Edition and in the last couple of weeks my computer
has been running really really slow. So slow now that sometimes it will
freeze up. I know from past experience that you can go into the system and
delete (w/out restoring) all past running logs. I just can not remember how.
Then today I got a IE System Script Error message. I am ruuning with 512 mb.
Any other info needed will try to help. Thnx in advnc.

Have you run scans for spyware? If not begin with Adaware and Spybot
and also run virus checks. See whts loading during startup, trim the
list as far as u can. Do some HDD maintenance to improve the speed, if
its running out of free space, run a cleanup ( delete the temp files,
internet files etc) and analyze the fragmentation, defrag after running
a disk error checking.
Might also be a gud time to blow out dust frm the case and make sure
its not a heat issue.
