slow startup

My computer starts up very slowly. I know I have lots of
space in my hard disk, I think I have tampered with it
and unknowingly ticked something. can u help me to undo
it

Hello bibi, you may have to go to the startup menu and very carefully uncheck
the items that are not required for start up. Click Start,>Run, type msconfig
in the window, click OK, click the startup tab.If you are unfamiliar as to
what items that you could uncheck, try unchecking one item at a time. This
can and will be quite time consuming, but it will certainly help you to
understand which applications are required at startup. Naturally, any
antivirus programs, firewalls, etc, should not be unchecked. Any problems you
encounter can be fixed by going back into the startup tab and re-checking the
application.
