N Nancy Richards Nov 18, 2003 #1 How can I speed up a DOS program? It is very sluggish. Have tried increasing buffers - no luck.
B Bob I Nov 19, 2003 #2 You can try making a shortcut to "command.com" and run the program from there. Right-click the shortcut and adjust settings for best response. Lowering Idle sensitivity sometimes helps. Also a program called TameDOS may help. www.tamedos.com
