Slow running from Network Drive

Hello,

Does anyone have any information why .NET EXE (Framework
1.1) takes along time to run from a network drive.

I need to know what can be done to improve the performance.

Probably because it needs to be JITed every time it's run since it's being
sourced off the local computer. If your setup is meant to facilitate
deployment over a local network, you might want to take a look at
internet/intranet deployment. It's introduced at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/dnadvnet/html/vbnet10142001.asp.
