Slow Restart /Shutdown

I have had this problem for about 2 weeks now. It has
never happened to me before and i have formated and used
windows XP Pro on a different format many of times. I
have searched all over the Internet and Here, it seems
that many people have the same problem, but the problem
is, is that no one has the answer. The System hangs at
"System shuting down" on the login screen for about 4 to
5 min, and i believe that i have tryed alot to prevent
the error but nothing has worked yet. Is there a way to
search what your computer is doing during the
Shutdown/Restart process? PLEASE HELP!
